Salary: $63,431 to $97,078 annually ($33.65 to $51.50 hourly)

(Educational Supplement: Masters $1.52/hour; PhD $3.03/hour)

Are you ready to inspire the next generation of hospitality leaders? We are looking for a motivated instructor to join our team and lead our Hospitality Business Management program. If you're passionate about teaching and have expertise in Mixology, event planning, dining room services, and marketing principles, we want to hear from you!

Be Passionate and Taking Initiative with these Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lectures, and practical sessions with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively as a team member to enhance the learning experience for students.
  • Participate in department and faculty meetings to stay informed and contribute to faculty responsibilities.
  • Oversee lesson planning, assignments, and assessments to ensure students meet course goals and expectations.
  • Facilitate discussions, provide feedback, and encourage active student participation during classes.
  • Share current trends and best practices in the hospitality industry, promoting experiential learning in the classroom.
  • Lead the planning, coordination and execution of student-led public events including buffets and fine dining restaurant services.
  • Train students in dining room skills and the use front of house technology

Being able to deliver results by having:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or a diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience teaching in an adult learning institution or working at a management/supervisory level in the hospitality industry.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience in Mixology, event planning, dining room services, and marketing principles.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and learning platforms such as Moodle.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
  • Openness to learning new teaching methodologies and pedagogical skills.
