Culinary Foundation

The Culinary Foundations certificate provides students with the necessary skills to work in a dynamic and fast paced food service industry. Students will gain skills in planning, preparing and serving food in a full-service kitchen. The interactive program features a high level of student/instructor interaction and a high degree of hands experience through in-class food preparation.

  • Duration: 11 months

Baking Foundations

Baking Foundations is an interactive program featuring high level student/instructor interaction and a high degree of hands-on experience through in-class baking production. Students learn preparation procedures, production methods and presentation techniques for baked goods, pastry and desserts.

  • Duration: 10 months
  • Location: Winnipeg

 

Hospitality Foundations

Start the Hospitality Foundations certificate program provides students with the necessary skills to work in a dynamic and fast paced hospitality industry. Students gain skills and knowledge from occupational specific courses. The program includes a work practicum so students can put theory to practice.

Comprehensive Health Care Aide - International:

  • Duration of the program: 9 months
  • Location: Border Street Campus, Winnipeg or Victoria Avenue East Campus, Brandon

If you are driven to make a lasting difference in people’s lives, ACC’s nine-month Comprehensive Health Care Aide (CHCA) International Cohort program prepares you for a challenging and fulfilling career in health care. If you have compassion and respect for people of all ages and cultures, then being a health care aide will be a rewarding choice. There is a strong clinical component in a wide variety of health care settings and the program emphasizes employability skills desired by health care employers. 

Graduates may find employment in acute and extended care hospitals, personal care homes, private care facilities, mental health settings and home care.

 

General Business Certificate - International:

  • Duration of the program: 11 months
  • Location: Border Street Campus, Winnipeg or Victoria Avenue East Campus, Brandon

The General Business Certificate program is designed with the entrepreneurial spirit in mind. Learn how to negotiate, invest, sell, market and manage people – in this economy. Then connect the dots within a strategic approach. This program will prepare you to administer and manage all types and sizes of businesses.

 

Business Administration Diploma - International:

  • Duration of the program: 2 years
  • Location: Victoria Avenue East Campus, Brandon

The two-year diploma program equips students with the practical knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in business. Required courses provide a thorough education in the varied aspects of business. The second year of studies, students choose one of the seven specializations. To graduate with a Business Administration Diploma, students must successfully complete 150 academic credits.
