Brandon - Victoria Avenue East & North Hill campuses

Monday, August 28, 2017 |10:00 - 1:00 p.m.

Programs: Trades: Automotive Tech., Carpentry and Woodworking, Construction Electrician, Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, Industrial Metals Fabrication, Piping Trades, Power Engineering, and Welder.

North Hill Campus (1035 1st Street North, Brandon)

Please start at the Len Evan Centre for Trades & Technology – Carpentry Shop

10 - 11 a.m. Student ID card, parking pass, locker, buy your books and program supplies and enjoy a campus tour.
11 a.m. - noon Meet your instructors and ask questions.
noon - 1 p.m. BBQ at Len Evans

A temporary Bookstore is open from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. inside Room 207, Len Evans Centre for Trades & Technology. 

 

Monday, August 28 |11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Programs: Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Horticultural Production, and Sustainable Food Systems

North Hill Campus (1035 1st Street North, Brandon)

Please start at the Len Evan Centre for Trades & Technology

11 a.m. - noon Uniform pickup for Culinary Arts students (temporary Bookstore in room E207N in Len Evans)
noon - 1 p.m. BBQ at Len Evans
1 - 2 p.m. Student ID card, parking pass, locker, books/supplies, and tours.
2 - 3 p.m. Meet your instructors and ask questions.

 

Tuesday, August 29, 2017 | 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Programs: Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Medical Administration, Legal Administration, Office Skills, Office Management, Agribusiness, and Environmental Technologies (Land and Water Management).

Programs: Comprehensive Health Care Aide, Early Childhood Education, Police Studies, Practical Nursing, Social Service Worker, Communications Engineering Technology, Civil Technician, Interactive Media Arts, and Network Administration Technology

Brandon - Adult Collegiate

Wednesday, September 6th

Adult Collegiate (725 Rosser Avenue, Brandon)

Programs: These activities are for new daytime and evening students registered at the Adult Collegiate for classes beginning either September 5 (evening) or Sept 6 (daytime).

Students will be able to meet other students, staff and instructors and learn important information about ACC, the Adult Collegiate and their classes. Students will also have an opportunity to obtain their photo ID (including bus pass) and access their “My ACC” account, which is a computer application used at Assiniboine by students and staff to view class schedules, grades and financial information.

Evening Students: Tuesday, September 5, 2017

  • 5 p.m.: Assembly in the Adult Collegiate Cafeteria, cookies and coffee will be available. 

Daytime Students: Wednesday, September 6, 2017

  • 9 a.m.: Assembly in Room 120B at the Adult Collegiate for morning classes, cookies and coffee will be available.
  • 3 p.m.: Assembly in Room 120B for afternoon those students who cannot attend the 9 a.m. session.

 


Dauphin - Parkland Campus

This event is for all new students studying at our Parkland Campus in Business Administration, Comprehensive Health Care Aide, Carpentry and Woodworking, Early Childhood Education or Mature Student High School.

Where: Parkland Campus (520 Whitmore Avenue, Dauphin).

When you arrive, you will be directed to your specific classroom where you will meet your program instructors, ask questions, and understand what will be required in your first month at ACC. After your orientation, you will have time to find your locker, get your student ID card and arrange for a parking pass.

You will also be invited to enjoy refreshments, snacks and enter to win door prizes!
