This year's Student Showcase Trade Show held in the Gymnasium at our Victoria Avenue East Campus includes nearly 40 exhibitors including students from Business Administration, Environmental Technologies - Land & Water, Interactive Media Arts and Communications Engineering Technology. This year we also have student exhibitors from Vincent Massey High School & Birtle Collegiate.

This event is designed to give college students the opportunity to display projects that integrate all the concepts, skills and techniques they've acquired over the years of study at Assiniboine.

In addition to the trade show, the business students will be presenting their business ideas to judges from the Westman business community. These presentations will be run concurrently from 1:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. and are open to the public for viewing. Check out the full schedule with room listings here.

New this year is the Cando Rail Services Idea Pitch Competition. This competition has a college division as well as a high school division, with students competing for cash prizes. Presenters have 60 seconds to sell their business idea to a panel of judges, followed by 90 seconds of judges' questions. The top three students in each division will receive cash awards. This event takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in our Lecture Theatre, Victoria Avenue East Campus.
