The use of GIS is very far-reaching, so careers can span across many industries. From positions in traditional mapping to app developers, assessing insurance risk to piloting UAVs and processing 3D imagery, you'll find these roles in all kinds of organizations, agencies and industries.
Develop skills to analyze, interpret and use geospatial data for applications in natural resources, geology, environmental research and land use planning. Graduates are employed by all levels of government, utilities, mapping, software and app developers, agriculture, forestry, municipalities, cities, criminology, architecture, engineering, consulting and other related organizations.
Several high schools have agreements with Assiniboine. In these instances, high school students may receive advanced standing at Assiniboine.
