Civil Technology (Municipal Engineering)
Duration/Start: 1 Year/October
Learn about terrain analysis, fluid mechanics, geotechnical materials, groundwater flow & analysis, roadway design, water and waste water piping system design, and project administration. Methods of study involve classroom lectures, assignments and lab-based study. Topics covered and lab projects use hands-on applications that deal with current municipal developments.
Civil Technology - Municipal Engineering specialization is offered through Continuing Studies. It is open to those who have successfully completed the second year of civil technology at ACC or Red River College.
The program consists of studies in Hydrology, Geotechnical Materials, Economics/ Management, Pavement Mix Design, Waste and Water and Roadway Design.
