The Social Service Worker program is designed to prepare you with the knowledge and the skills to make a meaningful contribution in the human service field.

This two-year diploma program has an Aboriginal focus and prepares students to work as practical frontline service providers in a variety of social service settings.  The curriculum includes courses in social work methods, social welfare systems, addictions, community development, social policy and counselling.

You will have the opportunity to participate in field placement and explore roles in community, health, education, and institutional environments. Field work will allow you to experience the industry and better prepare for employment.
