Why choose Agribusiness?

Your studies are not just centred around the classroom—there’s plenty of fieldwork to get you outdoors, introducing you to the key features of the prairie agro-ecological landscape. You’ll experience day tours of crop and livestock operations, land formations and watersheds.

Work experience lets you use your academic knowledge in a practical employment setting, and you’ll get a good sense of direction and confidence in deciding on your career path. Plus, there’s the added benefit of extensive networking with employers and job search support.

When you graduate, you’ll also be eligible for membership in the Manitoba Institute of Agrologists, with the option to achieve certifications for the Pesticide Applicators/Dispenser license, and challenge the Certified Crop advisor exam.
