2020 Graduation Events

Fall 2020 events

We know that one of the most special parts of graduation day is hearing your name announced and receiving your scroll from Assiniboine’s senior leadership, marking the culmination of all your hard work and accomplishments.

Being able to celebrate the occasion with your guests and taking that all-important photo in your grad gown and cap is equally important.

Although we can’t have a ceremony, we do want to host an event that provides you with the above opportunities.

Graduation 2020 Livestream

What will the event look like?

Once you are registered, we will email you detailed information about your event, including the safe physical distancing protocols that will be in place as informed by provincial and federal guidelines.

A week prior to your event, we will send you a specific timeslot to attend to ensure capacities and physical distancing remains within provincial guidelines.

All graduates and guests will be expected to wear a mask, reminded to stay home if they are feeling unwell, even if their symptoms are mild, (visit for a list of symptoms), and follow physical distancing protocols in place at the event.

Please remember that current public health orders mean that anyone travelling to Manitoba from outside of Canada or certain areas of Canada are required to self-isolate for 14 days and must not attend this graduation event unless they have completed this 14-day self-isolation requirement, (visit

When you arrive, you will be guided to get your gown, cap and tassel; you will then be announced by the graduate announcer and receive your scroll from college leadership.

Your guests will be able to take photos. You will then rejoin your guests and there will be a couple of photo areas set up for you to take additional pictures.

You will then be guided to return your gown and exit the event.

We anticipate that this will take no more than 20-30 minutes from start to finish.

You must register and order a gown to confirm you want to attend your graduation event.

Registration is now closed.
