Assiniboine Community College has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join the Financial Services Team and play a key role in the accounting functions of the schools and business units.

You are passionate about accounting and can work independently in a fast-paced, high volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. You are committed to process improvement and are able to build effective relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Take Initiative.

You will have experience in preparing financial statements and reports, budgeting and forecasting. Your skills in gathering, analysing, interpreting and recommending courses of action make you a great fit for this position. You will support and develop non-financial College leaders in all areas of Finance and Accounting and ensure consistent process and procedures are used college wide.

Deliver Results:

To deliver results you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with several years’ of progressive experience in accounting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis or a comparable combination of education and experience. Advanced computer skills are required with a particular emphasis in MS Excel. Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills are required. Experience in full cycle accounting and public sector accounting is an asset.
