Salary range: $31.07 – $46.16 per hour
Educational Supplement: Masters $1.45 per hour, Doctorate $2.89 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an instructor to teach in the preparatory portion of the Applied Plumbing Installation program that will be delivered in Sandy Bay First Nation from: September 8, 2020 – October 2, 2020. This program is designed to prepare students with skills to enhance their opportunity for success in the Applied Plumbing Installation program that will be delivered from October 5, 2020 –April 16, 2021.
Be Passionate. You are a passionate teacher, ready to provide a supportive and challenging learning environment for a diverse group of Indigenous adult students. We are seeking someone who can teach the following courses: Computers for College, Life Skills, Math Prep for Plumbing and Science Prep for Plumbing.
Take Initiative. You’ll take initiative in curriculum development, classroom management, student evaluation, academic advising and related administrative duties. Excellent communication and organizational skills and the demonstrated ability to work as part of a team will come naturally to you.
Deliver Results. To deliver results, you have experience working with Indigenous communities and experience teaching adults. You also have experience teaching in the subject areas mentioned above and are comfortable working with computers in the learning environment.
