Full-time Term Start Date: Immediately to May 3, 2022

Salary: $58,764 to $87,303 annual ($31.07 to $46.16 hourly)

(Educational Supplement: Master’s degree $2,725 per annum; PhD $5,450 per annum)

ACC is looking for instructors to teach ELA 20F/30S/40S, and dual credit Social Science courses: Family Dynamics and Child Development. The programming at the ACC Centre for Adult Learning is designed to offer adult students the opportunity to attain their Mature Student High School Diploma or upgrade their skills for further education or employment in day and evening classes. The Day program operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

ACC Adult Collegiate provides a supportive yet challenging learning environment for a diverse group of adult students. Curriculum development, classroom management, student evaluation, academic advising and related administrative duties will be ongoing responsibilities.

Take Initiative.

You will take initiative, providing students with relevant experience and background in the courses you teach. Previous experience in teaching adult learners would be an asset.

Deliver Results.

You will possess a Bachelor of Education degree, a Manitoba Teaching Certificate and have several years of experience in a variety of educational settings. Your strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills will support your enthusiasm to instruct. You must be computer literate and ready to provide instruction in both on-line and face-to-face formats. Familiarity with a Learner Management System is an asset.
