The School of Trades is seeking a Job Coach to work in our Welding program located in Brandon. You will help students of all ages adapt to classroom education and program expectations, balance work and other life roles, navigate career transitions and stages and enhance career satisfaction. Be Passionate.

You are passionate about student success and engagement and are versed in the principles of building a community through education.  Cooperation, communication, and commitment to our students, the business communities we serve and our stakeholders are the foundation of this role.

You are independent and positive. You will work proactively with students, staff and program partners in the Welding Program, understanding the interaction between academics, personal life and career development.

Your relevant education combined with your experience has given you the knowledge and skills to support learners to achieve their goals. You are a creative problem solver who works well in a challenging role that is multifaceted. Experience working in an adult environment and with underrepresented groups is an asset. In accordance with the college’s strategic direction.
