The Facilities division is looking for a Manager, Health and Safety & Building Operations. This position provides oversight for the health and safety of all Assiniboine campuses and provides leadership and management for the facilities division including building maintenance and management, and shipping and receiving.

You are an effective leader, ready to provide management and supervision for your team, and able to provide clear and concise communication with all areas of the College and external stakeholders.

You are a problem solver and your collaborative nature allows you to work with a variety of stakeholders to reach a common ground. You look for opportunities to improve processes to maximize efficiencies in all areas of the College and understand the importance and complexity of health & safety legislation.
Deliver Results. You results-driven with previous experience providing oversight for the health & safety of others, developing and administering maintenance programs, managing risk, developing and monitoring multi-year operational plans and budgets, and managing space. You have a sound understanding of the Workplace Safety & Health Acts and Regulations, Environment Protection Act, Hazardous Waste and Disposal Act & Regulations, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulations, among others. You will bring the right balance of technical education and experience, with the ability to manage the performance of direct reports and provide positive employee relations for the units you supervise.
