The College is currently looking for a Service Worker to support and contribute to our Campus Development team.

Take Initiative. If you are the type of person who takes pride in your work and takes initiative to get the job done to the satisfaction of your clients, then we want to hear from you! As the Service Worker, you will primarily perform general maintenance, grounds work, pick up and deliver equipment and supplies, operate delivery vehicles, assist with ordering and receiving supplies, equipment and other items as required. From time-to-time you may assist with general custodial duties or perform set-ups and tear-downs in conjunction with program requirements. Following established safety policies and procedures when performing work and operating equipment should also come natural to you.

Deliver Results. In order to deliver the results required, you will have related education and/or training and experience in maintenance, logistics/material management, warehouse operations or in a related field. Experience with operating the appropriate machinery, tools and associated equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, mowers etc.) is preferred. As you will be driving a delivery vehicle in this role, a valid class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract are required. You also must be willing to obtain and complete WHMIS training and have general computer knowledge.
