ACC is currently looking for a Success Coach for their Welding Certificate program in Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation, MB.

Be Passionate. You are passionate about student success and engagement and have a direct understanding of the support individuals require in a post-secondary setting. You support students by working with individuals and small groups to facilitate the application of effective study techniques. You lead students to an understanding of their role as learners and help them integrate skills towards becoming a professional in the Trades.

Take Initiative. Your previous experience shows that you are independent and look for opportunities to expand education services within the community. Self-motivation is critical for this role and your energetic attitude and collaborative spirit will build the groundwork for success.

Deliver Results. Your relevant education combined with your experience has given you the knowledge and skills to support learners to achieve their goals. You are a creative problem solver who works well in a challenging multifaceted role. Experience working in an adult education environment is an asset as are experiences working with local support agencies and Indigenous peoples.
