Indulge your creativity and rise to the challenge with our Culinary Arts program. You’ll take on the full menu of food preparation, including nutrition, presentation and international cuisine.

Together with Hotel and Restaurant Management, Culinary Arts opened the doors of its state-of-the-art educational facility in September 2007 at Assiniboine’s North Hill Campus. The site features heritage buildings and a picturesque landscape, with newly constructed and renovated classrooms and labs, plus a leading-edge teaching kitchen, theatre, and 60-seat dining room.

Culinary Arts provides the skills and practical experience to help you reach your goal as a chef. This interactive two-year program features a high level of student/instructor interaction and plenty of hands-on experiences through in-class food preparation, industry-based competitions, and community projects and events. You can expect training in all aspects of food preparation, including institutional cooking, international cuisine and nutrition.

Incredible culinary events are held annual at the college's North Hill Campus from September through April each year, including Harvest on the Hill and Grey Owl.
