Why choose IMA Interactive?

Students are presented with real communication challenges that require teamwork—choose either to initiate and lead or support the work of others in developing a project to meet industry standards. You’ll end up with a portfolio of work that demonstrates your hard-earned skills and talent to potential employers.

You’ll find an invigorating and challenging program that hones your craft across a wide range of digital environments. The Media Specialization teaches you to write, announce, shoot, record, edit, and produce items for broadcast, cable, and audio/visual departments. The Interactive Specialization develops skills in writing, design, image editing and code for interactive applications for web, mobile, animation and basic game development firms.

Both specializations share a common first term that teaches a working knowledge of multimedia communication and lets you work as a team with a diverse group of fellow students on industry-standard projects. At the end of the year, you can choose to exit with an Interactive Media Arts certificate. In year two, Media Specialization students have the choice to major in Writer/Producer or Multimedia Producer.
