Indigenous Student Funding | Assiniboine Community College

Indigenous Student Funding

Indigenous students can receive funding through their education authority, tribal council, or regional Manitoba Métis Federation office. This funding usually consists of tuition and book costs and (in many cases) a living allowance. In most cases sponsorship funds are limited, so students are encouraged to apply early.

Typically students must submit acceptance letters from the college with their funding application, so students are encouraged to apply early for Assiniboine Community College programs.

In many cases, available funding is not sufficient for all living costs. Students may supplement funds by applying for Manitoba Student Aid.
