How can you use the Retrain Manitoba credit at Assiniboine?

As part of the next steps in Manitoba’s economic recovery, the Province of Manitoba, the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development Winnipeg launched Retrain Manitoba. The $12.5 million dollar program is a grant for Manitoba businesses. Businesses are eligible to apply immediately for up to $2,500 per employee (to a maximum of $75,000 per company) for any retraining and upskilling required to keep up with the changing needs of business.

This credit is available retroactively from April 1, 2021; the program covers 100% of the eligible training costs (up to the maximum per employee).

Retrain Manitoba grant is available on a first-come, first-served basis and once the funds have been distributed, the program will close.
