Dauphin/Parkland spring and summer course guide released

Master your grill or build your skills this spring and summer in the Parkland.

The 2015 spring and summer course guide for the Dauphin/Parkland area is now being distributed, and is available online to read right now.

With dozens of courses that appeal to health-care professionals, to businesspeople, to photographers and to cooks, there's something for everyone in the new guide.

This guide covers spring and summer 2015, through to August, and includes both personal interest and professional development courses.

Our featured course is Barbecuing, a hands-on cooking course that runs over two nights in late May — just in time to take advantage of outdoor cooking all summer long. Whether you swear by charcoal, propane or natural gas, you'll learn the techniques to cook perfect meat and vegetables on your barbecue this season. Bring an apron!

It's part of a very strong cooking lineup this season. We're also offering workshops in cake decorating, in cooking what you hook (fish), in Thai cooking, beef dishes and hors d'oeuvres and appetizers.

But we're also offering many health and wellness courses, from an eight-week Zumba class to palliative care classes for health care professionals.

We also have a dedicated guide for Brandon and one is coming soon for Winnipeg.
