Women's Futsal

2024-25

Futsal is a variation of indoor soccer played with a smaller ball and 4 on 4 with a goalie. It is fast-paced, requires foot speed, skill, creativity and teamwork.

Manuel Luben Lozano
Coach

This is the first season for Manuel Luben Lozano as head coach of the women's soccer program. An avid fan, he brings 25+ years coaching experience at various levels of soccer. He highlights technical proficiency, tactical awareness, mental resilience, teamwork and sportsmanship. He was raised in Honduras, where his two sisters remained after he moved to Canada in 2012. He started playing soccer at a young age, working his way up to playing at a competitive level in Division 3. Luben Lozano is a soccer official in the Westman region and completed the requirements for his C license coaching level. In March 2024 he travelled to Spain to further his knowledge completing his Level 1 Coach Development Program through the Villarreal Club de Fútbol Coaching Academy.
