Respectful College – Policies & Procedures
Creating a learning and working environment that is respectful is essential to maintaining a space free of discrimination and harassment. Everyone at Assiniboine shares the responsibility to contribute to a positive space by not initiating or participating in harassing, bullying, or discriminatory behaviour.
The College is committed to ensuring that individuals who believe they have been subjected to harassment or discrimination can express concerns and register complaints without fear of retaliation or reprisal. Assiniboine will act promptly and efficiently to address incidents of harassment and/or discrimination, taking corrective action against any member of the College community who breaches this Policy.

The Respectful College Coordinator’s duties include receiving, investigating, and resolving concerns, as well as providing informal advice and assistance to faculty, staff, and students. Mediation is also available to resolve conflicts under the Respectful College Policy.
