Admission Requirements

If your high school education is from a country outside of Canada, please see our chart of admission requirements by country. If you are an international student, please see our international admission requirements.

Some programs may require applicants to meet additional requirements for the purposes of applicant selection. Refer to specific program admission requirements for more details regarding competitive entry requirements.

English is the language of instruction at Assiniboine. All applicants educated outside of Canada, or a country not on the test-exempt list, are expected to meet the English language proficiency requirement.

Manitoba 2020-21

All programs require a complete Grade 12 diploma (except Mature Student High School). Most programs also have specific subject requirements as listed below. Where Consumer/Essential Math 40S is listed as the minimum requirement, Applied and Pre-Calculus Math 40S will be acceptable. All students with E, M or I courses will be referred to our assessment of special circumstance.
