The equivalencies listed on this website are intended as a general guide to help applicants understand how previous education may compare with Assiniboine College admission requirements.
If you completed your education in a Canadian province or territory not listed above, you may still apply. Your transcripts will be reviewed to determine whether you meet the equivalent admission requirements for your program.
Published equivalencies are subject to review and do not guarantee admission, transfer credit or recognition of a particular course or credential. Assessments may consider the institution attended, curriculum, course content, level of study, grades achieved, and program-specific requirements. Applicants may be asked to provide additional documentation, such as detailed course outlines, grading scales or a credential assessment.
All applications with transcripts containing any high school courses with an M (modified), E (English as an additional language), or I (individualized) designation do not meet college eligibility for admission. Upgrading will be required.
Assiniboine reserves the right to revise equivalencies as education systems, curricula and admission requirements change.

English Language Proficiency Requirements
English is the language of instruction at Assiniboine. All applicants educated outside of Canada, or a country not on the test-exempt list, are expected to meet the English language proficiency requirement.
Competitive Entry
Some programs may require applicants to meet additional requirements for the purposes of applicant selection. Refer to specific program admission requirements for more details regarding competitive entry requirements.
