Program Start Dates

Program start dates are indicated by a ✔ in the tables below, meaning the program is open for you to apply to as an international student. Please note, some of the programs listed below could have a waitlist for their next intake date; meeting admission requirements does not guarantee you a seat to the intake date you apply to.

Cohorts

Programs with a 'cohort' notation require all tuition and fees to be paid in full before the program begins. Refer to Policy A20: Refunds, Registration and Adding/Dropping of Courses for full details about the refund policy and all conditions for eligibility for refunds.

Post Graduation Work Permit

At Assiniboine College, we recognize that selecting the right program is an important decision for international students. Recent updates from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) regarding the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) Program, effective for study permits applied on or after November 1, 2024, introduce new eligibility requirements. To qualify for a PGWP, students must graduate from a program related to one of five key sectors: agriculture and agri-food, healthcare, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), trades, or transport.

Assiniboine College is pleased to confirm that many of our programs meet both national and provincial labor market demands and fully comply with the Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) list issued by IRCC on October 4, 2024. Many of the programs listed below are PGWP-eligible and aligned with the latest IRCC guidelines, supporting international students in pursuing meaningful careers in Canada. We strongly encourage you to regularly consult the IRCC website, as eligibility requirements and program offerings may change.

Important Note: International graduates must meet all PGWP eligibility criteria set by IRCC. Final decision on PGWP approval rests with the Government of Canada and is independent of Assiniboine College.
