Assiniboine, Behlen donate $10K of welding tables to Crocus Plains

Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School welcomed 20 new welding tables this week donated by Assiniboine Community College and Behlen Industries.

The tables were constructed by welding apprenticeship students and instructors at Assiniboine—with steel donated by Behlen Industries—and used at the national Skills Canada competition in Winnipeg this past spring.

They have a combined value of $10,000 and will be put to use inside the high school's welding shop, replacing older, smaller tables.
