The Assiniboine Community College Cougars invite applications for the Head Coach, Men’s Soccer and Men’s Futsal.

Be Passionate. You are passionate for and have knowledge of the sport of soccer and futsal. You must have a desire to lead young adults, develop and influence team culture. You must have a coaching vision for yourself and for developing a long-term, successful program.

Take Initiative. You are a leader, able to work with and guide a variety of personality types. You are goal oriented and driven to succeed. You have experience coaching soccer/futsal teams (B license or working towards preferred).

Deliver Results. The coach is responsible to lead recruitment efforts year round to maintain a competitive team within the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference. You will nurture an inclusive environment where academic success is paramount for all members of the team while they respect the opportunity to represent the Cougars. You should have a proven track record that demonstrates possession of high levels of leadership, communication, organizational skills, sportsmanship and integrity. This position will require some availability on evenings and weekends.

About Assiniboine:

Assiniboine offers unique one year certificate, two year diploma and advanced credential programs across a variety of disciplines including culinary arts and hospitality, business, agriculture and environment, health and human services, trades and technology. We also deliver apprenticeship programming in a range of skilled trade disciplines.

The Cougars compete in the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference, which is a new member of the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association. This competition will remain open until the position is filled.
