Kylee Peake and Emmalie Thompson are the November Athletes of the Month

Peake leads the women's volleyball team in passing and kills (109) and second in service aces(21)

Kylee was named MCAC Female Athlete of the Week in November. The rookie left side led her team to back-to-back five-set wins over the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers (2-5). The Russell product recorded 16 kills and four aces on Friday, then topped it with 19 and three in Saturday's rematch. "Kylee has had a very strong start to her rookie season," said ACC coach Kevin Neufeld. "She is a rare six-rotation payer who most often leads our team in the back row (passing and digs) as well as the front row." - MCAC

Emmalie Thompson is no stranger to this accolade.

Thompson is a member of the Cougars hockey program that currently sits ranked #1 in the West Division within the ACHA. She was also apart of the 2022 ACHA National Championship team

In just eleven ACHA games, Thompson, a third year forward has racked up 7 goals and 15 assists, sitting at 22 points going into the December break.
