Cougars Weekend Re-Cap Sept. 24, 2018

It was a busy weekend for the Assiniboine Cougars as the soccer teams played a pair of matches.
On Sunday, the Cougars travelled to Winnipeg to play Université de Saint-Boniface.
In women's action, Jerra Green led the way scoring two goals to earn the Cougars a 2-2 draw against Les Rouges. The women moved to 1-2-1 (W-T-L) on the season.
The men failed to find the net in a 8-0 loss in Winnipeg against Les Rouges.
On Saturday, the Cougars hosted the Red River College Rebels at Optimist Park.
The women started slow in the rain, sleet and snow and lost 2-1. Jerra Green scored the goal for the Cougars.
The men lost to the Rebels 6-1 and fell to 0-0-4 on the season.
