Cougars Weekend Re-Cap Sept. 28, 2018

The Assiniboine Cougars women's soccer team capped off an undefeated weekend with a 1-1 draw against the CMU Blazers in Winnipeg on Sunday.
Jerra Green scored the lone goal for the Cougars while Camille Plett responded for the Blazers. The draw improved the Cougars' record to 2-3-1 (W-T-L). It was an impressive weekend for Green who scored five goals in two games after the Cougars defeated the Providence Pilots on Saturday in Brandon 4-2.
In men's action, the Cougars lost to the Blazers 10-0 on Sunday. The Cougars lost 4-1 to the Pilots on Saturday.
Carson Argon scored the lone goal for Assiniboine.
It was an impressive weekend for Assiniboine that started on Friday with a three-set sweep (11,15,13) of the Dakota Ladyjacks from Bottineau.
Paige Donald led the Cougars with six kills while Blaire De La Mare chipped in with five.
