Grey Owl reservations open January 12

Assiniboine Community College will begin accepting reservations for its annual Grey Owl restaurant starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, January 12.

This year’s Grey Owl runs January 23 to February 17, 2017. Close to 1,400 guests will enjoy the fine dining experience over the course of four weeks.

Students and faculty come together to present a fusion of nouvelle and classic cuisine in the historic Grey Owl dining room inside the Manitoba Institute of Culinary Arts at the college’s North Hill Campus.

This student-run event provides a practical component to both programs. It's one of the tastiest 'learn by doing' experiences at Assiniboine. Culinary Arts students present a stunning menu to members of the public while Hotel & Restaurant Management students practice their hospitality skills with tableside service.

Grey Owl is arguably one of Brandon's most anticipated events of the year with table reservations selling out within hours of phone lines opening. Last year, reservations were fully booked within two-and-a-half hours.

Those interested in booking a reservation may call 204.725.8738 or 800.862.6307 ext 6516 once the phone lines open on January 12.
