Learn to 'Excel' at spreadsheets

ACC Continuing Studies offers numerous courses to help you navigate through Microsoft Excel.

If there's anything worse than a blank sheet of paper, perhaps it's a blank spreadsheet.

Luckily, ACC Continuing Studies has a number of courses that will help you break out of the row-and-column prison. They're one-evening workshops that will get you up and running quickly.

Starting from scratch? Our Excel Basics Workshop will examine the basic functions of Excel. This includes navigation in the worksheet, entering, editing and formatting data, using Autofill and rearranging the workbook. It's just $59 plus GST and we're running it twice in Brandon coming up: Thursday, March 19 from 7-9:30 p.m. and again on Tuesday, April 28, from 7-9:30 p.m.
Course No.: COMP-0124

Looking for something a little more advanced? Our Excel Formulas Workshop will show you how to create formulas and have Excel do the work for you. Topics include basic formulas, rules, more advanced formulas such as conditional, reference, math, trigonometry and statistical. Our experienced instructor will explain the various formula combinations and help evaluate which types will work best for you. Again, it's just $59, and we're running it in Brandon on Wednesday, March 25 from 7-9:30 p.m.
Course No.: COMP-0537

Do you live outside of Brandon? We have a daylong course in Russell that may be closer to home. Excel & Word: Tips & Tricks will teach you more about each of these two Microsoft Office programs -- essential in today's work environment. Bring your questions with you. This is $149 and runs Thursday, March 19 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Course No.: COMP-0529

You can register online -- you'll just need the course number, above.

Of course, we also offer Customized Training, and we can bring the instructors to you.
