Frick is a 6’2” player, who has played club volleyball with the 18U Club Volleyball Bongo’s and High School volleyball at Melville Comprehensive School, where he received Male Athlete of the Year. Frick was a Bronze medalist with his High School 4A Volleyball team in 2017/18. He is a multi-sport athlete having played hockey, badminton and basketball all throughout high school. Frick also took part in his local 4-H Club.

“Just being able to play the sport I love at a high level in what appears to be a great atmosphere” said Frick when asked what he was most looking forward to about playing for the Cougars.

Coach Joel Small weighed in on the newest recruit saying “Talon is a good athlete with a good all around skill set. Talon’s read blocking is very good and he has a good eye for the game”. Small continued on, “We are excited to where his potential can take him and the team over the next few seasons”.

Frick has been accepted into the Agri-Business program for this upcoming September. He says what attracted him to Assiniboine Community College was the “nice city of Brandon and the volleyball program”.
