Parkland graduates take the stage today

Eighty-two ACC students will graduate from the college’s Parkland Campus in Dauphin later today, celebrating their achievements in front of family, friends and college staff.

Mark Frison, President of ACC, will bring greetings on behalf of the college and will be joined by many other distinguished guests.

Students will be graduating from eight programs: Business Administration, General Business, Carpentry and Woodworking, Comprehensive Health Care Aide, Construction Electrician, Early Childhood Education Workplace, Early Childhood Program Management and Mature Student High School.

“This graduation marks two years of experience and education that I will never forget,” said Kyla Flamand, Students’ Association Vice President for Parkland from 2013-14. “I made important connections with members of our community and I am proud to move on in life knowing the people I have met and the lessons I have learned.”

Twenty-six students will be graduating with distinction. A total of 22 students will be graduating from the Mature Student High School program.

ACC will be handing out 32 awards totalling $13,275 to graduates during the ceremony.

The graduation ceremony will take place today at 2 p.m. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Auditorium (8th Avenue Hall) in Dauphin.
