Partnership with Manitoba Nurses Union for Canadian culture classes

We are happy to announce that Assiniboine Community College and the Manitoba Nurses Union are joining forces to offer courses in Canadian Culture and Communication — in Brandon and Dauphin.

These Module 1 courses are for internationally-educated nurses who live in Brandon or Dauphin and who want to improve their communication skills as well as their knowledge of Canadian nursing culture.

Along with face-to-face classes in Brandon and Dauphin, the Manitoba Nurses Union also offers classes in Winnipeg. Nurses outside of those areas can take the online exclusive program, which incorporates weekly Skype classes, to help nurses improve their speaking skills.

Two information sessions will be held in Brandon:

• Wednesday, June 17, from 6–8 p.m.
• Thursday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to noon
