Students in the creative media programs at Assiniboine will gain valuable hands-on experience thanks to a generous donation of six 3D printers and consumables for the machines!

Martin Petrak, CEO of Precision ADM, a global provider of engineering and manufacturing solutions specializing in Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) for the medical, aerospace, and industrial sectors—donated the machines, valued at $22,000, to the college.

During COVID-19, Martin purchased 110 of these printers to produce medical supplies locally in support of the healthcare system. After the printers were no longer needed, he chose to donate them to Assiniboine College, Confederation College, and Red River College.

Students and faculty express their gratitude to Precision ADM for this generous contribution, which ensures access to the latest technology and prepares students for modern, creative, and competitive workplaces.

Another great community partnership at work!
