Women's Volleyball Pre-season Underway

The women's volleyball team played a home and home series against the Dakota (Bottineau) Ladyjacks and came out with two straight set wins.
The Assiniboine Cougars defeated the Dakota Ladyjacks (Bottineau) in three straight sets (11,15,13) in women’s exhibition volleyball in Brandon last Friday night.
Paige Donald led the Cougars with six kills while Blaire De La Mare chipped in with five.
Kalin Winter's serve was devastating as she recorded eight aces.
The Cougars followed it up and defeated the Dakota Ladyjacks in three straight sets (19,18,21) in Bottineau in women's volleyball on Tuesday night.
Erica Scott led the Cougars with 14 kills. Jessi Coulter added four aces while libero Jordanna Chartrand passed an outstanding 2.71.
Assiniboine travels to Winnipeg to take part in Red River College's tournament on Friday and Saturday.
