Assiniboine applauds trailblazers in education and industry at annual Advancement Dinner

You’re invited to join us for an inspiring evening of celebration at Assiniboine College’s Annual Advancement Dinner. Together, we will celebrate the Advancement of the College as well as recognize the incredible achievements of our alumni community by honoring this year’s award recipients whose leadership, innovation, and impact remind us of the lasting impact Assiniboine graduates have across Manitoba and beyond.

2025 Alumni Award Recipients

• Excellence in Education Award – Graham Street (’95)
  “I knew from the moment I filled in for three weeks at the college at age 19 that it was what I wanted to do. Assiniboine’s small class sizes and personal touch allow us to truly connect with students and help shape their education in meaningful ways.”
  
• Distinguished Alumni Award – Denis Vielfaure (’80)
  “What began under challenging circumstances became the motivation for a lifetime of success, Assiniboine was one of the bricks in my foundation.”
  
• One to Watch Award – Madison Wright (’20, ’23)
  “It’s a reminder of why I do what I do and motivates me to keep growing, learning, and making a difference in the early childhood education field.”
