Salary: $58,764 to $87,303 annual ($31.07 to $46.16 hourly)

(Educational Supplement: Master’s degree $2,725 per annum; PhD $5,450 per annum)

Assiniboine’s Land and Water Management Diploma program combines practical remote and classroom experiences to solve real-world problems for an in-depth education that can be applied in any number of industries. We provide students with hands-on learning through labs, field trips and lectures, and a dynamic, student-focused atmosphere of small classes and experienced faculty.

We are looking for a passionate instructor who is outstanding in their field, who can teach with confidence on the subject matter of Terrestrial Ecosystems. You will be a professional ready to contribute to producing quality programs that are responsive to Manitoba’s labour market.

You will deliver highly interactive, hands-on classes where student success is the goal. You will be an engaging and forward-thinking instructor, who embraces our “learn by doing” philosophy while providing leadership and mentorship to students.

Deliver Results.

To deliver results, you will have industry experience or post-secondary education in Environmental Sciences, Natural Resource Management or another closely related discipline. Professional industry related experience and background in land and ecosystem management is preferred. You may work closely with a multidisciplinary faculty in horticulture, sustainable foods, environmental technologies, civil technology and communication engineering technology, as well as with other stakeholders in the community and the province. Post-secondary or adult teaching experience is an asset.
