Asset Integrity Summer Student

Tundra is seeking an Asset Integrity Summer Student for 4 months (beginning of May until end of August) based out of the Virden office & field (MB & SK).

As an Asset Integrity Summer Student, you will be responsible for creating QR codes for IDs for all well and header locations and labeling all locations in the field. This position will also assist with various other departmental tasks when needed.
Reporting to the Lead Asset Integrity Engineer, some specific duties and responsibilities of the Asset Integrity Summer Student include, but are not limited to:

• Create QR code IDs for all field locations.
• Manufacturing and assembling all signage and then traveling to all Tundra field locations in SW Manitoba and SE Saskatchewan and installing in the field.
• Other departmental duties as required.

Qualifications

Candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• High School Diploma.
• Must be enrolled in Post Secondary Education and returning to post-secondary education in September 2022.
• Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license.
• Computer skills are considered an asset.
• Knowledge and/or experience working with a database is considered an asset.
• Mechanical abilities are considered an asset.
• Knowledge of the Dominion lands survey system is considered an asset.
• Ability to work apart of a team as well as independently.
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Required to satisfactorily complete a comprehensive medical examination conducted by Tundra’s designated physician to assess your ability to perform the duties of position.
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
• Adhere to the safety accountabilities as per Tundra’s Safety Policies.
