Tundra is seeking a Warehouse Summer Student for 4 months (beginning of May until end of August) based out of the Virden & Waskada area.

As a Warehouse Summer Student, you will be responsible for helping maintain the warehouse and yard. This position is also responsible for providing vacation coverage and assisting with various tasks when needed.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, some specific duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse Summer Student include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with loading and unloading all materials arriving and leaving the main warehouse.
• General housekeeping of the yard and grounds (ex. scrap in bins, garbage in bins, etc.).
• Other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• High School Diploma.
• Must be enrolled in Post Secondary Education and returning to post-secondary education in September 2022.
• Basic mathematical abilities
• Computer skills are considered an asset
• Mechanical abilities are considered an asset
• Ability to work safely.
• Ability to listen and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to work apart of a team as well as independently.
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
• Internal customer focused.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Required to satisfactorily complete a comprehensive medical examination conducted by Tundra’s designated physician to assess your ability to perform the duties of position.
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
• Adhere to the safety accountabilities as per Tundra’s Safety Policies.
