Overview
The International Peace Garden is a 2,300-acre public garden and park situated on the border of Manitoba and North Dakota.The IPG offers a wide range of experience in the fields of horticulture, professional grounds maintenance and customer service applicable to the tourism sector. If you like working with plants, and love being outdoors in a beautiful and natural setting, then this is the place for you!
Seasonal Horticulture staff at the IPG are responsible for the installation and maintenance of plant material in the IPG formal gardens. Staff are supervised by and report to qualified horticulturists, with ample opportunity to gain more in-depth knowledge and experience in the field of horticulture, especially as it pertains to a large cross-border public garden.
Qualifications
-Currently studying horticulture or related fields
-Be willing and able to work outside all day
