Tradesworker - Level 3 - Arborist
Overview
To participate as part of a working team that performs, and may direct assigned workers engaged in planting, cultivating and transplanting trees, shrubs and ornamental and flowering plants.
Qualifications
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12, G.E.D. , or Mature High School Diploma;
- Manitoba Arborist or ISA certification;
- Must be proficient in Mechanical Aptitude and Problem solving;
- Hold and maintain a valid Class 5 with Air Province of Manitoba Driver’s Licence.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in grounds maintenance including tree trimming and planting, machinery operation, and facility maintenance;
- Pesticide Applicators License including Mosquito Abatement and Golf Course/Landscape (must be obtained within one year of appointment).
