To help us keep the future of agriculture bright, we are seeking several motivated and driven individuals to join our team in the role of Agribusiness Associate. Based in Regina, the successful candidates will rotate through some of our core business units – Merchandising, Rail Logistics, Trade Execution, and Procurement – gaining valuable knowledge and skills while also building strong cross-organizational relationships.

Develop an understanding of and learn to assess risk in various areas while exercising strong judgment and decision-making.
Build, foster, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers across various disciplines
Learn and develop an understanding of Viterra’s marketing strategies including marketing trends and competitor activities.
Work closely with contract and trade terms, developing an understanding of these terms while participating and assisting with executing shipments.
Gain knowledge around inventory management and how it translates to profitability.
Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of corporate policies, procedures, and processes regarding the areas worked in.

The Ideal Candidates:

Have a post-secondary degree in Agriculture, Business, or Commerce.
Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and always changing team environment.
Can build effective relationships with people at all levels, both internal and external to an organization.
Enjoy the thrill of achieving goals and take pride in ‘owning’ their work.
Have excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening).
Constantly look for innovative ways to deliver on projects or tasks.
