▪ Are you currently studying or interested in horticulture or a related field?
▪ Do you need to complete Community/Practicum hours in order to graduate?
Consider the International Peace Garden! The IPG is a 2,300 acre public garden situated on the
border of Manitoba and North Dakota. We offer a wide range of experience in the fields of horticulture,
professional grounds maintenance and customer service within the tourism sector. If you like working
outdoors in a beautiful and natural setting, then this is the place for you!
Gain experience in planting and maintaining annual and perennial beds, weed identification and control,
ornamental plant identification, pruning and care of shrubs/small trees in a formal, public garden
setting. This position will provide maximum exposure to all facets of horticulture practiced at the IPG from start to
finish.
