Director, Employment Services - Full Time
Learning and Leisure Centre, 103-290 Vaughan St. (Currently Remote work, subject to change)

Are you inspiring with a strong desire to make a difference! We are looking for an individual to help promote entrepreneurship. As the Director, Employment Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the Employment Services program. You will lead contracted employment specialists in the delivery of employment training services following adult learning principles. You will regularly promote, plan, direct and assess employment service programming to ensure integration with the YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg’s Strategic Plan.

Qualifications

Are you the right fit?

• Foster, establish and maintain effective external partnerships (e.g. Funding agencies, local community associations, school divisions, etc.)
• Identify trends, opportunities and best practices to continually bring new ideas and initiatives to the Employment Services focus.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of best practices in employment services
• Provide leadership for program development, training, implementation and evaluation.
• Regularly participate in program to provide onsite leadership and coaching

What else do you need?

• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business Administration, Adult Education or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of experience in a similar role or 3 years related experience in a similar field
• Computer Skills: Excel, Word, Email (experience with databases is an asset)
• Demonstrated customer service and public relations skills
• Experience developing and delivering quality programs
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
• Fully immunized against COVID-19 or valid exemption
