Overview
Rock Lake United Church Camp is a camp for all denominations and different age groups. The cook needs to be on site from approximately Sunday noon to Friday at 4:00 most weeks over the summer. Each week is a different age group of campers. Job starts May 27, 2022 till August 27, 2022. Applicant needs to be good with children of all ages and work well within a group setting. Menu planning and grocery ordering will be assisted by the kitchen committee. Responsiblities include but are not limited to : meal preparation for large and small groups, cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining area, preparing options for a variety of dietary needs, and assisting within the camp enviroment.
Qualifications
Minimum age 18 years.
Food Handlers Level 1 before the start of employment.
Responsible, mature, and respectful in a group setting.
A Criminal Record check and a child abuse registry check.
