Administrative Assistant

Overview

Work will focus on providing administrative assistance to project leads in meetings with IMWD subcommittees, responsible for program applications, agreements, project cost tracking and reporting as well as general office and administrative duties for the Ste. Rose office and Infrastructure Standing Committee. The administrative assistant will also assist with advertising and promotion including organizing IMWD events. This position is a succession position to the Financial Administrator and will be trained for coverage of that position as required. Flexible schedule may be negotiated. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a diploma or certificate in business administration or equivalent relevant skills and experience, have experience in an office setting, be detail oriented, organized and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, and have a valid class 5 driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle. Accounting experience as well as knowledge of government processes and procedures will be an asset.
