Farm Labourer
Overview
Tamarack Farms grows native grasses and flowers, organic grains, and raises free-range pigs. Job position would include a wide variety of tasks, but primarily focus on helping with weed control (backpack spraying) in our perennial native grass and flower fields. Work could also include tractor work, caring for pigs and general farm work.
30 hours/week from June 1 to end of August
Individual aged 15 to 30
Wage depends on experience
Qualifications
Farm and plant identification experience an asset
Machinery operation and maintenance experience an asset
We are looking for applications from all qualified candidates, including Indigenous individuals or youth who are early leavers of high school, not in employment, education or training
