Driver Services Representative (DSR)
Overview
We are seeking a Driver Services Representative (DSR) in our Winnipeg Deck group for 6-month term with potential for permanent employment.
This position is responsible for planning, dispatching, and coordinating Winnipeg based long haul deck drivers and owner/operators. The DSR effectively establishes a plan by collaborating with customer service, projects, logistics, drivers, and regional dispatchers. Daily and ongoing communication and coaching of drivers and owner/operators is a key responsibility in effectively executing long haul logistics, achieving customer expectations, and maximizing asset utilization. The DSR applies knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and U.S. documentation requirements, and prepares, updates, confirms, and approves driver documents, asset status information and system information.
The term position has an anticipated start date of July 1, 2022, and will be until approximately January 15, 2023. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications
This role requires an individual keenly interested in a transportation career with the following:
• Transportation knowledge and experience gained either in customer service, dispatch, or administration with the ability to plan and adjust plan based on a variety of variables
• Strong people skills leading drivers and collaborating with team members
• Knowledge of logistics software or systems, with an ability to adapt/learn Truckmate (TMW) software
• Excellent time management and organizational skills in handling volume of work, changing demands and various source of information
• Ability to problem solve and negotiate to achieve consensus
• Attention to details and information to ensure accuracy and timeliness of driver pay, operational costs and system updates
• Flexible to adjust work hours to meet operational demands and carry cellphone to attend to after hour support requirements.
